Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, lunch at the lodge and a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. First game drive in search of leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes and antelopes. About 250 km, 5 hours.
Guided trek in Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest to observe chimpanzees, other primates, birds and butterflies. Another game drive in Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon.
Transfer to southern Queen Elizabeth and a full safari day in Ishasha, among tree-climbing lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants and antelopes. Packed lunch. About 100 km, 3/4 hours.
Final game drive in Ishasha and transfer from the savanna to the mountains of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The area and lodge depend on the assigned gorilla family. About 60 km, 3 hours.
After the UWA ranger briefing, trek through the forest to meet the mountain gorillas. Duration depends on the family’s movements. Afterwards, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. About 80 km, 3 hours.
Travel through Kabale and the Ankole region to Lake Mburo. In the afternoon, choose between a game drive, walking safari or night safari among zebras, giraffes, antelopes, hyenas and leopards. About 180 km, 4.5 hours.
Departure from Lake Mburo, with a stop at the Equator for lunch, photographs and last purchases. Arrival in Entebbe and airport transfer. About 250 km, 6/7 hours.
