Your journey, day by day

  1. Day01

    From Entebbe to Masaka

    Arrival in Entebbe, meeting with the guide and lunch. Afternoon transfer south-west to Masaka. About 150 km, 4/5 hours.

  2. Day02

    Towards Queen Elizabeth

    Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check-in at the lodge. Afternoon game drive through wooded savanna in search of big cats, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs and crowned cranes. About 100 km, 2.5 hours.

  3. Day03

    Chimpanzees and the Kazinga Channel

    Trek in Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest to observe chimpanzees and other primates. After lunch, a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel and another game drive in the park.

  4. Day04

    Ishasha and the road to Bwindi

    Safari in the Ishasha sector in search of tree-climbing lions, leopards, hyenas, antelopes and elephants. Continue to the Bwindi mountains in the afternoon. About 150 km, 7/8 hours plus the game drive.

  5. Day05

    Mountain gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi

    After the UWA ranger briefing, trek through the Impenetrable Forest to meet the assigned gorilla family. Afterwards, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. About 50 km, 2.5 hours.

  6. Day06

    Long return to Entebbe

    Early departure through Kabale and Ankole, followed by a stop at the Equator for lunch, photographs and purchases. Arrival in Entebbe and airport transfer. About 420 km, 10 hours.
